I experimented with writing when
I was of seventeen. I use to write letters to a few local
newspapers and sometimes to broadcasting stations. I also
tried to write a few poems and I was successful. I was
invited to read the poems at a broadcasting station.
Unfortunately, as I did join my engineering graduation in
another city, I was unaware of the offer and I missed it.
Thence forth I had completely delinked myself with
writing till I was in my 30s.
Some intermittent attempts were made. I wrote an article
on CTBT in Marathi language that was
published in leading dailies of my state. Then I could
publish another article only after a gap of 7 to 8 years.
Thus the progress of my writing was slower than the
snails pace.
From 2004 I had started my research work. Again a renewed
surge can be noticed in my writing. But now my writing
was mostly confined to research papers that have been
published in international journals. Now, I am
sufficiently established in the research writing and I am
developing a book on my work.
At the same time I wish that I should also write other
than the research pieces. All of a sudden, I had been to
the web page of Rob Parnell. I have started then reading
the newsletters and e-books from Rob. They are very
interesting and motivating. Now I am determined that I
should write fiction as well as non-fiction. But to start
with I have decided to focus on non-fiction. Attempts are
being made and hope that soon I will find myself in a
good position in the publishing industry. I believe that
a writer is a continuous learner and I appreciate
feedbacks and advise. Please email me at
